  1. I saw Heart at Empire Stadium in Vancouver in August 1978 with Bob Welch, Little River Band, and Nick Gilder. It was my first concert, and no kidding, I didn't know what an encore was so when Heart left the stage we left the concert not realizing that they would be coming back for an encore :-)
  2. I downloaded the 6 albums last week for the $72 price available until April 10. Overall I am pretty happy with the purchase, the sound quality is very good for hard rock music. As others have alluded to the there seems to be some nice highs and strong punchy bass along with good dynamis range. I listened to Your No Good from VH2 about 5 times in a row yesterday and just loved the sound of the guitar, bass, and vocals on that VH classic If I could have picked and chosen each album separately from HD Tracks I probably would have bought 3 or 4 so for $72 it is still a pretty reasonable price. I remember buying in the 1980's Mobile Fidelity half speed master vinyl LP's for $25 each so in comparison 6 high quality albums in 2013 for $72 seems like a pretty good deal if you are a VH fan.
  3. Without having the sacd and not knowing what the numbers really mean for each track, how do the numbers look for this HD download compared to most of the other HD downloads out there? I assume the greater the range in DR values the greater the dynamic range and generally the better quality the recording........
  4. Eagles -Hotel California Cat Stevens -Tea and the Tillerman Stevie Wonder -Musiquarium
  5. I don't have any other version to compare to but I downloaded the 24/96 version from HD Tracks and think the download is of pretty good quality. Not as good as my 24/96 HD Tracks downloads of Hotel California, Cat Stevens Tea and the Tillerman, or Stevie Wonder's Musiquarium but still a pretty good download....
