  1. @goldsdad - Correct. Opening the cue file in XLD allows me to split the ape file into separate songs. I'll check the results and see what bit-rate the process yields. Thanks.
  2. So I've downloaded some records in 24-96 bit-rate single-file ape format and I want to split them and re-encode for FLAC, keeping the high bit-rate. I've read elsewhere that XLD will do this but I could not find anywhere in the XLD preferences that allowed me to specify the bit-rate. Yes, if you haven't realized yet, I'm pretty much of a noob to high-quality digital audio, but I'm trying. And yes, I'm on a Mac. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I have the same problem. I want my entire FLAC library as a "playlist" but since iTunes won't read FLACs (and I hate iTunes anyway) I don't really want to add every individual song, or even album - i have about 3300 albums in FLAC - as it would take forever. Apparently Amarra won't allow one to just drag the entire library over. I'm still unsure whether it allows dragged individual folders, or if you really have to highlight every last song and drag them all over that way. What a drag
