  1. So after a week with no reply from Amsrra support I still find the remote slow and useless. $9.99 down the drain. The desktop works and sounds great. I will never purchase anything from them again. OK that's my rant.
  2. I just finished doing a deep scan. Took a few hours. Increased all. The suggested settings. Tracks and albums are showing up. Don't get be wrong I love the sound of Amarra. The remote is slow and needs tweaking imo. Did a search for Kenny Burr (Burrell). This was what came up. Why 0 albums?
  3. All set on app and Mac mini are the default settings. Tidal is set for Hi-Fi. I did a medium scan. Track cache is 8. Buffer size is 512. When I click on one of my artist it opens to a blurry album cover and no tracks.
  4. So I updated to the latest version and purchased the license for the remote app. At first I could only see 14 of My Artists. Figured out I had to hold after scrolling, get the spinning wheel and more would load. Now each artist shows 0 albums. I'm a little confused here.
  5. I tried the trial version for Tidal and thought it sounded good. Purchased it through a sale email from Sonic Studios. Haven't been able to use it. Crashes on start up or during initial scan. Not impressed with their support.
  6. Playing around with the the Mojo as a DAC only. Very, nice.
  7. Yeah it's going nuts at Head-fi. Good to hear of its capabilities.
  8. I have a Mojo on order from Moon Audio. Should be here next week. Will use obvious as a portable, but like to try as a DAC only. Using a Dragonfly and Cambridge DACMagic now.
  9. Tough to pick just one. I chose jazz. I also like older rock, country and working on classical.
  10. I was skeptical, but they did seem to clean up the sound. I have no way of measuring how much.
  11. My Mac Mini system is the spare 9x13 bedroom. Carpeted floors, just built (not covered yet) panels in the front corners, some acoustic foam on the side walls and a fabric love seat. Sounds pretty, good. Or the Bottlhead Crack and Sennheiser HD600s. A work in progress
  12. Wondering how the latest Mini would be for a server, the $499 one. I know you can't upgrade memory , but I feel better buying new when it comes to computers. Right now I'm using an old 13" MacBook, Airport Express, AppleTV, Tidal or Marantaz CD. I am running Audivarna on the laptop. Very, pleased with the sound.
