Hi, I just bought Behringer Truth B3030A, what do you think of these speakers? You seem to know or have used them yourself. I paired it with Audioengine D1, but I sometimes found something is a bit lacking in the sound produced. I compared my experience when I auditioned B&W MM-1, maybe the internal DAC of MM-1 is simply better than D1? or is it due to Behringer? Do you have any other suggestion besides Behringer Truth? (better but with around the same price). I considered buying Audioengine A5+ but was swayed to buy Behringer B3030A. THanks.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have been researching about micromega mydac, it seems very good from some of the reviews i read. I just bought Audioengine D1 Dac connected to my newly bought pair of Behringer Truth B3030A. Before Behringer I bought B&W MM-1, I was quite amazed with the sound produced by MM-1's internal DAC, but alas, a student like me thought MM-1 was too luxurious, I reluctantly returned it. Anyway, upon hearing Audioengine D1 through Behringer, I did not find the kind of warmth and pleasing sound quality as I remembered from MM-1..., I wonder if it's because of Behringer Truth B3030A quality, or is it because the D1 DAC isn't as good as the mm-1's? And does anyone know how the D1 compares to MyDac? (I know the answer would be MyDac is better, but is it worth twice the price of D1's? (Again, a poor student who calculates everything if possible..) thanks!
