Problem solved, solution is to install the file : asioproxyinstall.exe file, which surprising is not found in foobar component website!

Just got a new laptop with win8.1 in 64 bit. Now having a problem with foobar v1.3, it seems like in the preference > output > device, I can't select asio: foobar and in the ASIO driver, I can only select Mytek 192 DSD DAC ASIO. Would appreciate if anyone can advice me on how get the dsd playing on my foobar again, thank you very much.

Upgraded to 1.7.5, playing hdsd files without any problem even with older usb firmware 1.33.10 Now using foobar 1.2.9 with usb firmware 1.34.10, enjoying the music. 2 thumbs up for Mytek, at last a proven new firmware

Anyone tried the new firmware(1.7.5) with foobar 1.2.8 playing "hdsd" files?

Just installed the new USB 2 driver on my Windows 7, Mytek using firmware 1.7.1. Having problem playing dsd files now, the Mytek display will flash "dsd" and switch back to sampling rate of 44.1 I'm running Foobar v1.2.6, anyone faces this problem? When I downgrade back to USB driver 1.33.10, the problem does not happen, no problem with even "hdsd" format.

Hi Valenroy, My laptop (HP 4421s) does not have a express card slot.

As my laptop has only USB port, is it possible to get an USB to fireware 4 pin adapter and then connect it to the Mytek firewire port for firmware updating?
