  1. Ascendo too! Luckily for their neighbours their monster 50" subwoofer was only displayed ?
  2. Yes, the funniest thing is the show rules are you're allowed to generate a maximum sound level of 75dB in these porta cabins giving you a ~10dB dynamic range lol, i dont think there are many there following those rules to the letter :-)
  3. Considering the circumstances, a maximum of 30 watts of amplifier power, cardboard walls (no roomgain), a ~65dB noisefloor and constant ~10V voltage drops I felt theyre putting up a more then decent fight :-)
  4. Nice Job! [emoji106] I'd like to add that this needs reading/editing before applying, specifically the tcp/ip section [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile
  5. Isnt the free CAD script for windows 8? Or was a windows 10 version released?
  6. The RCA outputs are connected to pins 1 and 2 of the balanced output. So you are using half the output stage which has been optimised for balanced loading. The XLR outputs have a better noise performance. A balanced to single ended transformer is a very good suggestion and, if of sufficient quality, will improve performance.
  7. Are there seriously people preferring the sound of server 2012 over windows 10 (assuming both are "optimised")?
  8. Sure if you are willing / enjoy spending the time experimenting and investigating you can probably accomplish about the same. Its a lot of time for saving E100 or whatever it costs nowadays though [emoji28]
  9. I would definately try process lasso, very worthwhile. 1511 sounds better once you have stripped away the additional bloatware that comes with it
  10. Thanks, I'll retry with some different curves then. I always found the end result, although initially impressive from a "technical point of view" to lack prat / involvement. I recently aquired a pair of Rel Gibraltar G1 subs though that do a good job at compensating for the biggest roommode issues so I would probably need much less correction now. Maybe the end result will be more pleasing now aswell.
  11. Oh really? I was taught thats impossible! Well with Miska you never know So hey a question if you dont mind as Ive heard you have setup acourate to perfection where I have failed to get a completely satisfying result; What target curve do you use and how much phase correction do you set in Acourate? I settled on measuring at 96KHz and creating a 192KHz filter to use in HQP convolver. Although the convolution test gives better results for say 12/12/12/12 settings I preferred the sound of the default 2/3/2/3. Thanks!
  12. I think however if you use the convolver engine dsd gets converted to pcm, then the room correction is applied, then its converted back to dsd again, seems very suboptimal to me to use room correction on a dsd source, can definately see why a pcm source would do better in this case. Still agree on miska's algorithms being superior to anything else though :-)

Did you try with cuda disabled? The 6700K can handle it easy on its own. I tried enabling it and where it ran flawlessly without, with it started stuttering (yes too slow a geforce).
