  1. Here is version 2.0 with the same clock 25 MHz. TUSB8020B works with 24 MHz clock. (it's from datasheet)
  2. What brand of cable do you use? Perhaps this is a shielded cable and the shield is connected to the connector housing at both ends of the cable, and this is wrong. The shield should connect to the connector housing from only one end of the cable, because noise from the local network can be transmitted through the screen.
  3. I believe that the individual phase noise should not be higher than that stated in the datasheet for this OCXO. (By the way, I made an external clock for the ER based on this OCXO so that my friend liked this version more than the inner clock of the ER 😉). ocxo-cti-osc5a2b02-datasheet.pdf
  4. Similarly. NUC7i7DNH (fanless, LPS inside)->usb cable Furutech->iso regen->Topping e30ii (mod). Topping P50 - linear power supply for e30ii and iso regen . I like the sound very much 😉.
  5. Sorry but it's measured phase noise of the LB clock: The measured value is only slightly better than stated. And, of course, no TCXO compares to OCXO in terms of phase noise. Let me remind you of the real measurements Morion MV197, BG7TBL and AfterDark. Here
  6. The quality of the clock for audio is determined primarily by phase noise. This LB clock uses TCXO, whose phase noise values cannot compete with OCXO. This is evidenced by the value of the phase noise of this LB clock at 10 Hz at 10 MHz - 100 dB, which is significantly worse than that of OCXO, for which this value is from -120 dB and better. The BG7BTL measurements made by John and presented by Alex show the phase noise level at 10 Hz offset noticeably better than -120 dB. So there is no need to talk about the competitiveness of this LB clock compared to BG7BTL.
  7. I am also very interested in the answer to this question. Maybe ISO regen levels the quality of the USB output at the signal source?
  8. Is there any information about the OCXO phase noise values in this switch?
  9. I'm just advocating for correctness of statements and correctness of tests. 🙁
  10. This can be confirmed up or refuted only experimentally. Did you do such an experiment?
  11. Thanks! That's what I've been asking about before.
  12. I wrote that you are a very lucky person and could hit the jackpot 🙂. If your clock looks the same, then the two outputs circled in yellow are sine wave outputs. Also, all the outputs in the photo seem to be 50 ohms.
