  1. @Idolse, About two months ago and after lengthy searches on the net I bought an Alix 3D2 board for my audio set. After some fiddling with Voyage MPD I discovered your mpdPup distro. It seemed much more user friendly to me. So I decided to use your distro instead of Voyage. I had some minor issues installing mdpPub but in no time the server was up and running. I use your server in combination with the ODAC a fine sounding Dac by NWavguy. The Dac was immediately recognized by mpdPub. The combination is a wonderful match with an open airy and detailed sound. As remote I use Mpad. The Alix is running about twelve hours a day of which eight hours reproducing music. From the first moment on the combination is playing without a glitch, without an hiccup, just music and nothing but music. So I can confirm that your distro on the Alix is absolutely stable. My listening experience is limited to 24/96 files because of the ODAC. At the end of the day I just pull the plug like I do with other electronic appliances. Next day I switch it on and it plays and plays. So Idolse thank you very much for your work. Now I have to say that I cannot see why people buy expensive MAC's and Windows boxes with their bloated OS's their multitude of running processes and their electrically complicated and noisy motherboards, when at the same time you can install a lean and mean distro. This in combination with an Alix or an energy efficient Atom board.
