  1. Finally top-of-the-line DAC from Resonessence Labs MIRUS Why MIRUS? -ONE ESS9018 per channel: eight DACs in parallel to each stereo channel, a total of 16 channels or a total of TWO ESS9018. -Support DXD and DSD over USB. -SDCard reader are provided, just plug and play. The SDCard supports WAV, AIFF, FLAC and DSD files. Forget about CAS. -Input data rates up to 384kS/s. -$4995 Canadian dollars. Made in Canada. from WWW: -Save money for those "clean" USB power products. For example, iUSBPower can bring some improvements for DAC including dCS, Weiss, wyred4sound, EmmLabs, Mytek, M2Tech, AMR, Asus, etc., but NOT for Resonessence Labs - they did a good job in their USB implementation. -Save money for those USB to SPDIF products. For example, it is said that the Resonessence Labs Invicta USB output is better than Audiophilleo1 without PurePower. Invicta has linear power supply inside.

  3. Wow, thank you for the detailed reply, really helps! good to know Lumin is using NIHON DEMPA KOGYO japanese crystals... BTW, three more questions: -is it easy to change the power supply from 110 to 220V or vice versa? -any more development news on the app for other platform? I don't have an iPad, so I have to spend min. HKD$2600 for an iPad Mini just to use it as a remote control? -if my wireless router can accept USB disk and run it as file server, so can I connect it this way and Lumin can read the music files on the USB disk via LAN cable? Thanks!
