  1. Think it is called Debian Bookworm and not Bookwork ;)
  2. That video from 7:00 to 7:10 pretty much sums up this thread.
  3. Brian Lucey was right. If the audiophile press had done their "job" as "journalists" as many call themselves, we would not have this discussion.
  4. New Tidal tiers https://support.tidal.com/hc/en-us/articles/23008953804945-Upcoming-Changes-to-TIDAL-Subscriptions? Not a word about you know what
  5. Wasn´t it a service like this earlier also? https://blog.masterchannel.ai/mqa/ They have later removed that "MQA tier" of course but the blog remains.
  6. No MQA from the latest ES chips. https://www.esstech.com/essnews/ess-technology-introduces-new-stereo-high-performance-codec/
  7. Well, some of it most people can shut off. Some telemetry etc. digs deeper and needs to "edit" registry for instance or editing the "hosts" file. Disabling many services, uninstalling all the native apps is very important. All the bloat that comes with, requiring diagnostics data etc. All the "sync" services etc. They also makes it very difficult for most people to install without a MS account etc. Then comes a large MS update and everything is back.. MS edge suddenly appears again. Quite annoying and time consuming. There are some tricks but for most people the data is all in the hands of MS. No wonder win11 is often called spyware. And they are not alone. In fact, just installed the Tempest browser for added privacy. Really like it.
  8. Anyone using windows? (especially win11) ? That is alot of "phone home" issues there.
  9. Still.... https://shenzhenaudio.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/topping-d90iii-sabre-dual-ess9039spro-digital-to-analog-convertor-dac
  10. You could check out CamillaDSP used on a rpi. Have 2 running. Great product. I think at least 8 channel dsp have been reported working great with rpi4 but the kernel used has to be quite fresh.
  11. I think he was here several times schillin with different nicknames.
  12. Why not online? Afraid of comments? You were extremely fast covering the acquisition on the website. (and of course TAS also) You know very well that this has been a very big question here and other places why the big magazines dont cover the "bad news" about MQA, and therefore only acting as an advocat for this dividing tech. You are only making it worse each day. Next to the loudness crazyness, MQA is the single worst that has happened to the audiophile community. What was it Brian Lucey said? yes, all of this stand.
  13. Yes, wasn´t that exclusive for BluOS? https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500006134702-Radio-Paradise-in-MQA-BluOS-exclusive-
  14. Suddenly Stereophile woke UP... Pathetic
