  1. If we could put the x2522 in a external cabinet etc. as Afterdark do here: https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/69478-afterdark-constellation-giesemann-sfp-optical-network-enhancer/#comment-1272453 but I assume that we need some sort of af USB-C to pcie card converter/adapter/cable, so it can be connected to a pc?
  2. You have made some of the mods at the CR309 as Xymox has done at WBF?
  3. @SK8 Thanks and smart to use a vice ;0) instead of this there are expensive… https://www.caseking.de/en/der8auer-delid-die-mate-ws-3647-fsd8-028.html Lucky You, that You have copper cpu heatsinks, so You can use liquid metal because this isn’t possible with the Taiko aluminium cpu heatsinks in their diy chassis kit.
  4. The Taiko Extreme pcie slots are often occupied as this: CPU 2 - 1 (16x, blank), 2 (8x, SFP card or network card), 6 (8x, blank), 7 (16x, Music storage card) CPU 1 - 3 (8x, OS storage card), 4 (8x, blank), 5 (16x, Taiko USB card). I think I have read that the CPU 1 with the OS gets a few degrees warmer.
  5. If Yours psu is the same as at “BOBO’s” picture, then it just have one regulator to both outputs and the outputs are therefore, as I wrote parallel connected.
  6. Ok, sounds dangerous/worrying. You didn’t use both of the outputs? Ask, because they are parallel connected, so if the psu max. is 3A, it will be max. 1.5A per. output.
  7. Sounds weird, was it with toroidal transformer or R-core transformer? I have a few with R-core transformers and there have been no problems with them. It is basically the same psu as Xymox at "whatsbestforum" uses with a few modifications for his AppleTv X and switches/AP.
  8. Yes, this psu can be adjusted from 5 to 24v, but it depends on the voltage output of the transformer. I think to get 5v a 9v transformer are preferred, but maybe a 12v can be used to…
  9. Hi, if You want to try/use these cpues at the Asus sage ws c621e mb, why not buy the Intel Xeon silver 4114 instead? They are cheaper used, than US$50 and it was the cpu Taiko Audio used in their Extreme, before the Xeon 4210 came at the marked. The icemancooler cpu protector is a little bit cheaper here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004069216700.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.3.708954414Bbz45&algo_pvid=d8653557-7664-4793-9ba0-320a8f244463&algo_exp_id=d8653557-7664-4793-9ba0-320a8f244463-1&pdp_npi=4%40dis!EUR!53.29!50.63!!!412.49!!%402101e9d416916633545696230e400e!12000029558856272!sea!DK!718482759!&curPageLogUid=4AmK166DxBcX&gatewayAdapt=glo2esp
  10. Yes, a multimeter is a good thing if you are in doubt. If you just want to test whether it works, an 8 pin cable is enough, but as you well know, the more cables the better... What do you find confusing that the 12v on the atx connector also has contact with the 12v on the EPSs?
  11. Yes, they are linked, also with the 6pin at the top middle. In the beginning I tested the sage with a normal atx pc psu and then one cable was enough, but The atx connetors 12v is also linked to the 2 EPS power connectors.
  12. Hi, I have received my order. They have had the wire in yellow teflon in stock a long time, but they were simply lost track of my order somehow and focused on the arrival of white wire, instead of reading my suggestions/emails and respons.
  13. I tell here why: On January 8, 2023, I ordered 5m MUNDORF SGW-115WH, silver/gold wire, 1.5mm, white and some MUNDORF cable lugs. When I made my order, the 2 items were in stock(and they still are)… When I didn't hear anything from ELTIM, I wrote to them on January 13, where I was told that none of the parts were in stock. Fine, I had to wait until they got in stock and then the parts will be send, I thought… I didn't hear anything from ELTIM, but I was patient… On March 1, I write to them and mention that it doesn't matter, if they send me the MUNDORF cable with yellow Teflon, since it is in stock on their website. I hear nothing, On March 19 I resend the email again, hear nothing… Then it hit me, hmm didn`t I pay with PayPal, so I could get my money back or if not, could it be therefore ELTIM just ignored me, because then they will just keep my money and send nothing. It turned out that I had transferred the money via bank, because I think PayPal's 5% fee was a bit high. Maybe it is me who is naive, when I dared to skip PayPal, but I have never had problems with other companies, when I have paid via visa cards or bank transfers. Hello, this is a company that has been around for many years and that I have bought from in the past. On 11 May, I send an email to ELTIM, that now it is enough and I have waited 4 months for what I ordered and no response at all and warned them that if they still ignored me, there was just one solution, that I tell my story, about theirs behavior in Audio Forums, Facebooks and reviews… I hear nothing and here I am trying to tell my story and warned others, so they don't make the same mistake as me, if they order something from ELTIM Audio BV located in the Netherlands always use PayPal, so it is possible to get Your money back. My money are lost, fine, I have been patient and ignored by ELTIM in nearly 5 months, but enough is enough, it isn’t funny anymore… Sorry, it got longer than expectet, but hope someone can use this info to anything ;0) Kind regards Flemming Leth, Denmark.
  14. @Gavin1977 is missing on the last list 😉
  15. Thumbs up 😉 Do You remember how much 1 choke approx weight? Shipping from Nederland to Denmark isn’t expensive. A max. 10kg parcel cost approx 25€ at postnl. If it had been the other way around from Denmark to Nederland it will cost approx 87€ 😳
