Yes, an entry level LPS like Plex 200 is a nice start. However, my experience with 400 is super hot and not efficient and that cause significant to the sound quality. This is my own experience someone might be different. But general with heat issue.

Thx, been there and done that. Those so call Lps you can get from amazon just not going to cut it. It is a stock upgrade you can call. But that’s stay at that level only.

Sure, anything will work. It doesn’t matter, it’s all subjective in audio especially sky is the limit just the cost in return is much smaller when you at the more fore front level.

$3500 for either sotm or mutec seem reasonable if quality is that good. Of course can’t compare with esoteric or DCS but not are not cheap either. I’m not sure TLS is doing any clock at the moment but I think is wise for them to do such since they already has a good start with switches and routers.

Just you know TLS switch already has the clock build within the switch that’s is why their is much better than say outboard version.

Yes, I did compare with 4 different LPS with GS108 before settle with my selection. Good LPs doesn’t come in cheap anyway. But good clock is the key. Some say over Kill. But in audio everything is over Kill in order for few % improvements or not even that.
