  1. LUMIN only plays from it's playlist, so no, clearing it will stop playback. If you want music while clearing the playlist you could switch to a different streaming source - Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay or FLAC Radio will play instead of the normal App playlist.
  2. Yes, Firmware 17 is out for LUMIN A1 and includes TIDAL Max support just like all other LUMIN. A1 doesn't support TIDAL Connect, so TIDAL Max is available through the LUMIN App. Edit. For example, if you browse to TIDAL > New > Albums you will see several with the new 'Max' icon next to the titles.
  3. Along with our popular range of skin creams, we will soon dominate the world! Mwahahaha!

  5. Great! It's shows as 48kHz 16-bit which is different to the bitrate, I have no way of identifying the bitrate, but I see no reason why it wont be 320kbps. Peter will know more than me though.
  6. No, I don't have a paid account. I don't have a 'general' folder - everything is loose in Favorites and that is what shows on LUMIN. I've just tried on iOS iPad 7 and it works the same way - screens look the same as yours (except for the lack of 'general' folder). Shows as first radio station on my LUMIN.
  7. Hi Ropet. I can confirm. On an Android phone, I have just managed to use the instructions in the manual (and pressing the heart icon to add to favourites) to successfully add P2 to LUMIN. (latest Android and latest TuneIn app).
  8. Hi Ropet I don't know whether @wklie has any better ideas (it's the start of Chinese New Year holiday for head office), but have you tried the custom url method shown in the manual here?: https://luminmusic.com/manual/app-internet-radio.html#custom-url (separate instructions for iOS or Android)
  9. It keeps taking us by surprise! How time flies! Thanks for the reminder! Wishing everyone a great Christmas, full of beautiful music!
  10. The beautiful sunshine has highlighted that you need to get the duster out :) Incredible system and photography!
  11. The U1X has been available for a while now, so I wouldn't consider that a new model. As mentioned above, it's a U1 with an X1 PSU upgrade.
  12. This isn't correct for Kazoo. Linn Kazoo (like the LUMIN App) are UPnP Controllers. They don't influence the signal path. The signal path is still directly from source to hardware - it doesn't go via the controlling software. LUMIN hardware will still communicate directly with either your own music library or the streaming source (TIDAL/Quobuz/etc). There are other software types that aren't pure UPnP Controllers and can influence sound quality such as JRiver/Roon/etc so the above doesn't necessarily apply to those.
  13. Yes, LUMIN P1 was developed after we had a lot of requests to open up our DAC for external inputs. It's been a great success so far! As you say, it's quite a jump up in price, but then there are lot of differences as well as the inputs (dual-toroidal power supply, Lundahl output transformers, fibre networking, Femto clocks, included remote control, etc), but obviously that doesn't help if the budget is more in line with the T3.
