  1. Except for the 1600, they all were using a zennerdiode before the quantiser. Also most consumertypes.
  2. Uuuhmm... Joe, will you please release that on HDtracks/Qobuz or whatever...
  3. Perhaps maybe someone will give me a copy of the 24/96 files?
  4. See subject. Is there a way to get Joe Satriani's "Additional Creations And Bonus Tracks" @ 24bit-96.0kHz? Or do i have to buy the "Chrome Dome"?
  5. There's a Eric Clapton "I Still Do" USB stick which contains the album in 24/192. And 2 bonus tracks. Are these two bonus tracks also 24/192 or standard 16/44.1?
  6. I did. Very little hardlimiting. And with a -5dB parametric eq cut around 2.5kHz during playback, there's no better than the 24/96 versions. Money well spent.
  7. What i like to know is which reel machine and a/d converter did they used and how the transfer was done.
  8. Best format for digital music? 24bit-88.2/96.0kHz, no more no less. Container does not matter.
  9. Always conversion to 88.2. I'm using a 4th order highcut to remove noiseshape.
  10. On many HR releases you can see a peak at 28.8kHz. Why is that and which ADC generates it?
