I would appreciate advice/suggestions from users currently running iTunes on a Mini and controlling it from an iPad. What software, on the iPad, is the best and simplest to install/use? I have looked at Splash, IOS Remote, etc., but see nothing but bad reviews. Apple tells me later this year IOS 10 "may" allow that on the iPad Pro, which I just purchased. I need the function due to age and room layout. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

I have used Blue Jeans interconnects numerous times. Morrow speaker cables are a perfect quality/value proposition for a $20K system. PS Audio power cables are also a A+ deal!!

Japanese firms are having "big" problems with finance/$$$. CS doesn't appear to be a item they wish to address at this time.

Why so? Anything revealing or not? Probably value vs sound. -
I keep getting bombarded by ads about this (expensive) new system? Anyone try it?

The cMP devices took a lot of "building and modifying" on an almost weekly basis. I had a huge project to manage so migrated to a simple MacMini to Weiss DAC202 system using PM with iTunes. If I was younger I would go back to building but not possible. Good luck with your project and would consider one if fully developed. The Mini is long in the tooth. GStew is amazing in his insights and abilities!!

Ron: In 2009/2010 many hundreds of us were using the Juli@ in our cMP setups. At one time I had 3 of them just so I could start building a new "Machine" while still using the current for listening. I don't know if he is a current member of CA but GregStew was a resident expert on this and LPS we were building.

Thank you both. Yes, I post seldom and when I do it's almost always a question.

I am wondering how this CA site assigns the superior titles to members such as "Master" Senior, and other indicators? Most of them seem to be pushing software or products, or in some cases, are audio reviewers. Many of them are truly very verbose in their assessments and suggestions, and as a member since 2009 (also a contributor for sometime) followed many of these "experts". This is not a political opinion but just a question as to the criteria as to elitists assignments from someone, a member since 2009, am listed as a newbie, versus "Masters" who have only been here for 1 or 2 years. No insults or slights intended as I am not a software developer or audio designer, but a mere retired EE who loves music.

I have a fairly simple system consisting of a last issue Mach2 Music Mac mini feeding a Weiss DAC 202 by Firewire. iTunes library resides on an external HDD using USB. The DAC is connected directly to a Parasound PA, then through Morrow cables to Golden-ear Tritons. As the Mach 2 (headless) is of 2011 vintage I would like to control it through a 2014 MacBook Pro by screen sharing. I am on a building supplied Wi-Fi system and am wondering if this "network" will support this proposed set-up? (Player is Pure Music). Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
