  1. I´ve measured and found out that -16db is exactly where the poti is @ 12oclock. So this should be the right Level (-4db) for the RCA input of the YAQIN. Job done!
  2. hmmm I think i´ll try to take a sinus wave with a Level i know, and then try to record it into my DAW. This way I should be able to calibrate to -6db and i can mark the POTI configuration. Thx again for the info. I´m sure music will sound better after that
  3. One Idea is to push the Volume on the Interface to MAX, and setting the audioplayer to -16db. Am i right or is this a bad idea in terms of Soundprocessing....quality... ?
  4. Hi iago thx for the fast reply. 16db Wow man this is a lot Any tipps for measuring the output and finding the right LEVEL ?
  5. HI everyone.I´m new here and don´t know where to write my question, i´m sorry if i´m doin it wrong I was thinking about my Setup, and "right" Monitoring Levels from my Audio interface into my Amp. I have a "Onyx Blackjack" usb interface and the Monitor output is connected directly with RCA cables to my "Yaqin Mc84L" Amp. On the front of the interface is an Monitor volume Poti, and the Manual says MAX=Unity (+10dbvu) but the level is now much higher then it was with my older soundcard. I´m not sure but I´ve tried to listen, if there is any distortion with MAX output from the interface. It´s hard to tell because it isn´t easy to match the Volume of different settings. But it seems that the bass is tighter with MAX Level but higher Frequencies become more "angry", it really depents on what kind of music i´m listenin to .But what do you guys think? What is the correct Input Level for my YAQIN ? Cheers
