  1. Hi Kenneth, Love your realization !! I'm wondering if you can do a dual output PSU with one output 12V/6A for Mac Mini and one 9V/2A for W4S recovery and what would be the price ? Thanks a lot
  2. Hi Mourip, great they answer you. Concerning the adjustement of the voltage, it's very easy. Actually, the power supply is available in 4 default configurations : - 2 outputs : 5V@3A and 12V@3A - 2 outputs : 12V@3A and 12V@3A - 1 output : 12V@6A - 1 output : 19V@6A For the 2 outputs version the 5V is internally switchable to 9V, and 12V to 15V. You only have to unscrew the top and move the switch to the desired value. Very easy and well build.
  3. Hi Mourip, i exchanged with [email protected] which is one of Keces dealer. He's very quick to answer and can help you surely.
  4. Hi Jakovh, Tboooe, thanks for your quick reply. I also contacted both companies and they both replied very quickly. What i can summarize from my search on Internet is that both have good reviews and users are very happy of it. The Keces looks a little more well finished, but what about the regulation quality, noise level etc ?? Thanks
  5. Hi everybody, i recently bougth the SOtM SMS-100. I'm pretty happy of it but it seems it's better when replacing the cheap wall DC power supply. I know SOtM is providing one power supply specifically for it. But for me it has 2 disadvantages : the price and the fact it runs on battery : i'll have to replace the batteries. So after having searched for another external power supplies i've found 2 "cheap" ones, that can output 9V@2-3A : - Keces DC-116 - Teradak DC-30 The Keces is a bit more expensive but seems to be a better quality, but i'm not sure of it. Can someone confirm me the Keces is worth the price difference ? Thanks a lot Christophe PS : sorry for my english
  6. Hi, i continue on my investigation for the pinout of a Mac Mini 2010 power supply . I found this : https://www.gothamsound.com/library/mod-mac-mini-dc-power. It seems that this is a 10 pins connector, 4 pin are linked to Zero and 4 are linked to 12V, 2 are unused. Could someone confirm it ? Chris
  7. Oh !! Thanks a lot for clarification. Do you know what is the pinout for Mac Mini after 2010 ? In case of power supply removal, i saw on different pictures and/or videos (clonesaudio, coreaudio etc...) that there is a connector that comes on the motherboard. I'm looking actually for the pinout of this connector, in order to make my own cable. and until now i didn't find this pinout Thanks
  8. Hi, in bottom schema, should'nt the input voltage be 12V ? Is it for Mac Mini after 2010 ? Thanks Chris
  9. Hi, I exchanged with Damien, and it seems the proprietary driver of Audia DAC is similar of the W4S driver and is not compatible with Direct Mode. Thanks a lot to Damien for having taken the time to search and answer to the question. A great professional ! Chris
  10. Hi, i'm new registered user ( a french) on this forum, even if i read it for a long time I decided to use Audirvana+ some days ago, after having read a lot of good reviews here and on other sites. One of the feature that i was interested was the Direct Mode. But unfortunately, when i launched Audirvana for the first time, Direct Mode check, i had the message : "Audio hardware doesn't support Direct Mode. Uncheck Direct mode in preferences....". My DAC is the integrated DAC of the Audia Flight Three amplifier. I'm a little disappointed, does someone know what can cause this ? Damien, what could i provide to you in order to support Direct Mode with my DAC ? Thanks a lot
