  1. Hi All First post here. I want to say this forum is great and I hope you all can help me with this. I have the following. Kindle Fire 6.3.1 Marantz AV7005 Parasound HCA-1205A 5 channel amp Oppo 93 two Rythmik 15" subs 5 GR Research AV-2's I plan to upgrade to the GR Research X-Otica for the fronts as soon as the kit is available. I want to make a dedicated music server that I can control from the Kindle Fire 6.3.1 I want to bypass the AV7005 when using the music server for the best sound per buck. The music server is just for stereo running flac , .Wav or whatever format is best at this time. I need a cost effective DAC that will sound better than the AV7005. I could also change to a Oppo 105 if this is cost effective. It needs to interface with the AV7005 so I can use it for HT,SACD and the Music server for stereo with remote control of the volume. What would be the most cost effective and still have a great sounding music server /DAC combined with the AV7005 for all the other duty's? The Subs are using XLR cables to their plate amps and the rest are RCA. I am just using the HDMI from the Oppo at this time. Is there a way not to use a preamp that has a HT Bypass to get as clean a sound as possible?
