  1. Thanks for your comments Eloise and Paul. I think the DAC is the right way to go, but if a cheap one would make only a minimal difference, then I'll better wait and collect some bucks aiming for a better one.
  2. Thanks for the advice mayhem13, I understand that's another way to approach the problem, but I am very fond of my Rotel and I'd like to keep using that old faithful friend.
  3. Hi, I'm new to this forum as I only recently realized that a computer can produce HIFI music. My current system is MacMini G4 (iTunes) -> Airport Express -> Rotel RA 820 BX -> B&W CDM 2 The AE is connected to the Rotel using the headphones output. I read a lot of threads about AE having a lot of jitter, not being a good digital source. So I'm wondering if placing a cheap DAC between it and the Rotel would improve the quality of my music or not. I'm not considering a high level DAC, because I don't want to invest too much for the moment, I was interested in the TCC TC-7510 (also known as Beresford TC-7510). Any advice is welcome !
