  1. Mentioning Soundsticks on an audiophile forum is already odd enough, but just in case anyone can offer insight, here is the problem I've got. When the Mac OS X System Preferences is set for headphone audio output true stereo is delivered. However, when the USB Soundsticks are selected in Preferences and the identical audio file is played back, both Soundsticks reproduce the right channel only. Any ideas about the cause/solution here?
  2. Clay, Thanks very much for the lead - the solution works fine! Now a follow-up question: It would be great to EQ the left and right channels individually since they each feed a separate self-powered loudspeaker. Is it possible within Audio Hijack to access the L and R channels individually?
  3. My gear is pretty good but the listening room is just a typical living room - maybe more reverberant than many. Smaart Version 6 shows the setup could benefit significantly from some equalization. While an outboard parametric EQ would do the job, it would be much nicer if a software version could be "inserted" between the output of the Mac and the input of the self-powered loudspeakers. Any ideas on how this can be accomplished?
