  1. Looks like My Aim is True was only the first...This Years Model, Goodbye Cruel World and Taking Liberties! http://www.prostudiomasters.com/search?f=artist&q=Elvis%20Costello
  2. I had thought that it was supposed to happen this month. Perhaps I misunderstood? This article seems to indicate that's not the case.
  3. IIRC you can stream them on any DAC, but need to have a DAC that can decode the MQA signal to gain all the benefits. Fortunately I have a Meridian Explorer 2.
  4. Thanks...I keep hoping for Long After Dark and Hard Promises
  5. Well...it's early yet, but I really like what I'm hearing! Clarity and good separation of instruments. Doesn't seem to have that slight grunge that my most recent remaster had in more complex stretches. That's with Geek Out as a source and AKG K550's. I'll check it out on my home system tonight (hopefully). The title track and "Only Living Boy in NY" are two of my all-time favorites and they sound fantastic!
  6. About to start listening to BOTW right now...I will report back soon.
  7. Looks like the hi-rez files are to accompany the super deluxe box set. The FB link for digital downloads sent me to iTunes. Ugh...
  8. Here's some more information.... Wadia 321 Decoding Computer | Ultra High-End Audio and Home Theater Review BTW - MSRP $3,000.... I'll be interested to see what it's all about. I've had several Wadia products, and I've always been happy. What I'm hoping to learn more about is DSD capabilities...no word so far that I've seen.
  9. It was originally supposed to be Gold CD only...when it was first announced over a year ago. Since then, they've changed it to Hybrid SACD. I have a buddy who pre-ordered it last summer and recently received notice of the change. No word yet on an actual release date...
  10. I use mine mostly at work, so a closed headphone is important. I use it mostly with V-Moda M100's, or AKG K-81DJ's in a pinch. I have used it with my HD600's at home, and frankly was surprised at how well it drove them.
  11. I'm excited about this, as I've been VERY pleased with my McCartney hi-rez files. I also saw him in concert last summer at Comerica Park in Detroit, and it might be the best concert I've ever seen. There's not much info yet, save that hi-rez digital files will AT LEAST be included with the deluxe box set. I'm hoping that, like before, they are also available for download. 12. This is fantastic news! I sure hope that we see those 24/96 files as anticipated. If this EMI release goes well, perhaps we'll see another "major" EMI collection given similar treatment?
