New (10/10) HiDiamond Digital Reference AES/EBU for sale (1.5 meter) Pricing $520 HiDiamonds outstrip manufacturer digital cables by far in tone, detail, staging, three dimensionality and dynamics, which is why they don't come on the market very often. Check the user reviews of HiDiamond Digital Reference at Audiogon forums. See my feedback here, Audiogon and eBay (rodrigoeliedson)

  4. I'm a bit confused! Today I went back to DAC8 USB input and.. The soundstage focus is a little worse (10% maybe), but sound is much more organic and real. So... If a SPDIF converter will can better my dac, Wavelink seems not be the right way.
  5. Uoww... Too many reports! Thank you!!! So... AES is the best way for my DAC. Good to know! I'm listenig Wavelink HS right now (with Nordsot RCA digital cable). Better soundstage, timing and focus. And about AES digital cable... Recomendations for Alpha USB + DAC8? Regards,
  6. I wondering if anyone can share what computer server or spdif converter they've had success pairing with Audio Research DAC8. Now I'm using Macbook Pro 13" (Mid2012) through DAC USB input. Any recommendations are appreciated. Cheers, Rodrigo
