  1. This is great news guys. I need to use both Mac and Windows computers for work and I've been getting by on a 13" Macbook from 2007. I've wanted to upgrade for years but have never quite been able to justify it, especially since I'm actually starting to prefer Windows (I'm starting to see customers switch back from OS X to Windows as well, something that was unheard of just a couple of years ago). The new 2012 Mac Minis finally offer a significant enough processor upgrade at a reasonable price to make a purchase seem like a good idea. My question for either of you is performance related. What are the disadvantages (if any) of using VNC software to control a Mini with a laptop as opposed to plugging in a keyboard and monitor? Is their much latency? Is internet required, or is it simply a wireless signal that the computers use to talk to each other? I've never looked into this configuration before so any info would be much appreciated.
