Hi. Thinking about building a CAPS 4 Pipiline edition. I wanted to check to see if the video capabilities of the Pipeline motherboard will run Roon. Roon cannot run on my V3 CAPS. If Roon is unable to run on Pipeline, is there a relatively easy video card fix available? Of course, I need to remain mindful of heat generation. Thanks!

For me, Tidal has been a wonderful addition to my system. Just starting to poke around with Roon integration - looks very promising. I need to upgrade my music server to use Roon/Tidal on my system proper. The CAPS gen 2 doesn't have enough processing/video capabilities.

I would definitely check in with Vinnie at Red Wine Audio. I use the black lightening for my CAPS server, and it works wonders. Not sure about the power needs of your DAC, but Vinnie is an excellent resource for your challenge.

I picked up a used RW Black Lightning to power my server, which is loosely based on Caps v2. I do have the SOTM TX USB Exp audio card. When i switch off the power via usb, via the external slider, the card does not power up. I know the RWBL is working, because the computer does boot up. Is there something i am missing here? thanks

This is small thing, but.... I listen to classical and jazz and find the "top tracks" showing up above the fold of my ipad screen, rather than albums, a bit of a pain.

If i do not see the HiFi icon next to the transport bar, does that mean i am not streaming lossless? At first the icon was always present, but it has now disappeared. I have spotty satelite-based internet, so that may be the culprit. Thanks.
