Personal recording - check. Artist publication/sale - possibly. Thanks (the Gordon pres don't s*ck too bad...as they say.) ;-)
  3. Haha Are you in LA, Nashville, or NYC?
  4. Pertaining to the thread -- yes, I use a parametric EQ (GML).

Well, actually, as the OP -- I should have written my objective is location recording of acoustic performances, perhaps.

    DSD 256 Recorder

My interest is minimally mic'd, live to two-track, remote recording using Gordon Audio mic preamps and Schoeps mics.

For the time being, consider me in that subset of recordists. I desire the option to record and playback DSD256 in the pursuit of fidelity.

Are you sure about PMX 11 Essentials? I'd read one needs PMX Native Pro or Masscore for DSD.

@ferenc Is there a Tascam DA-3000, Korg MR-2000s, Nagra VI form factor, e.g., recorder, equivalent to the RME ADI2 Pro? The RME seems to be an ADDA. What have you seen hooked up to it, so it functions as a DSD recorder?
  12. Hello, We may have heard about or even be familiar with the Korg MR-2000S and/or Tascam DA-3000 DSD Recorder. These units are currently limited to recording DSD128 / 5.6 MHz. Has anyone heard of a DSD256 / 11.2 MHz recorder -- Merging, notwithstanding? Best, Sam
