  1. I am experiencing EXACTLY the same issues as you have described with the Amarra demo v2.4.2 and playback of FLAC files above 24/96 (which according to the message displayed when I click File -> Check for updates is the newest version. I'm not sure how you'd download 2.4.3?). The tracks I'm attempting to play were downloaded from HDTracks.com and are all 24/192. The tracks playback without issue using either Decibel or Pure Music (as I see it Sonic Studios main competitors), but any attempt to drag them into the Amarra Playlist results in the error "Sample rate of this track is not supported". Similarly I attempted the FLAC to AIFF conversion via File -> FLAC to AIFF... which results in an AIFF file that Amarra will only playback at 44.1Khz and in iTunes mode, any attempt to switch to Amarra playback mode is refused (without the display of any error message). I note however that the FLAC to AIFF conversion appears to have been successful since viewing the "Get info" dialog in iTunes shows a "Sample Rate" and "Sample Size" in line with the 192/24 original FLAC files. I couldn't agree more with your sentiments about the state of this release. All things considered this is a pretty shocking defect in a product that is supposedly intended for the playback of high quality audio files. I've not yet raised this with Amarra support since my initial investigation into the problem turned up this thread. As such, I'd by extremely interested to hear if Amarra support are able to offer you a solution in the mean time.
