  1. Does anyone know if the Esoteric D-07x or K-03 are Direct/Integer-mode compatible?
  2. I've downloaded the latest beta version and am no longer experiencing the issues I reported.
  3. I've just started a trial of Audirvana on 2011 Mac Mini Server with Mountain Lion. I've been testing both SPDIF and USB interfaces to my Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2. I realize I'm not able to take advantage of Direct and/or integer mode (unless I try one of the USB to SPDIF converters). For now, I just want to get it up and running. The first time I installed it, I was getting no output, but later realized it was probably because I had integer mode selected. I reinstalled the app, deselected it, and got it working (with iTunes integration enabled). The playback initially had some problems (pops, dropouts, stops and starts). I modified some memory settings and that seemed to help. I have 16GB to install, but wanted to first see what it was like with the stock 4GB. Even though I deselected the playback indicator, it still seemed to move the indicator in iTunes. I tried restarting the app and iTunes, but it was the same. My big problem is that I can hear a second audio track of the same song, that is behind by a few seconds and very faint. At first I thought it might be coming from the Mac Mini itself. I then lowered the volume in iTunes and it seemed to attenuate this faint sound. However, later after a track finished in Audirvana, I could hear the other faint track again. I searched around to see if this is a common problem, but couldn't find anything. Has anyone experienced this and is there a setting or solution to avoid this? I've been trying to do some critical listening (despite the constraints with my DAC), but am concerned that this second track is affecting what I'm hearing. Thanks.
