  1. I am very satisfied with the overview and features. Only thing, I am missing..and highly missing, is when looking at your music albums. It could be so great, to have all alphabet letters in the right, so can simply press”P”, for example and you then scroll directly down to all artist starting with P. Insted of now, when you have to scroll and scroll down to get there.
  2. I reached the 100 hours mark some time ago and saw many mentioned that was good enough and then I have not played that much on it since. 20-30 hours maybe. I see now that more people say improvements up to 200 hours now. I will let it play and reach that mark within 3-4 days and see. If I use seperate LPSU for each product, but then put the LPSU AC cords in common power strip - can this make that I do not get full credit for the MOAT ?
  3. BTW - Almost forgot .. The ER did some nice changes in my system.. I had some dropouts as well, so await for the new FW. But has played for some days now without. Lower noisefloor , better insight in the music, bass notes much more clear. Wider/deeper soundstage and etc.. Only small downside is on some recordings, I think there is a small amount of hizz / digital sharpness. That is why I changed to LSPU instead of the Uptone standard. But this did not help much. Also burn-in did not get rid of it all. I feel that this is something than can be better, so that is why my questions above Thanks
  4. Hi I am also only using local files playback with Linux PC Trying to do it as simple as possible. I have dedicated power line to my HIFI system and seperate ground rod. I have an Ansuz Mainz Power distributor , that connects all products in same distributor. All SMPS is out of the way and replaced with Linears. (Teddy Pardo , Auraliti and some LM317 types). Want to get rid of all SMPS noise, so do not want that in (or near) my system. 1) I am not 100% about the recomended LAN cables to use.. (Shielded or not shielded or JSSG shielded or etc) 2) Also , I am not sure about if some of my products, should maybe NOT be in the common Distribution box ? Really could use some suggestions about this (or other if you feel like it) Of course I will also try and listen, but there are hundreds of combinations.. Thanks Here is my setup:
  5. Ah, of course. I got it. Sorry and thanks
  6. I got the Netgear FS108 and want to ask here how to make the connection as octaviars did. Is it to make connection like this picture below ? On the GS108 it look like to connections. 1 to the screw on board and 1 also to the chassis. Is the one in red enough and correct ?
  7. Hi guys Really hope you can help me. I have some trouble with a new setup to my Auraliti PK90 USB. It works without any problems with my external USB HDD attached. I have the USB HDD attached directly to the SoTM USB ports on the Auraliti. But I would like to have it attached on the Apple Airport Extreme and then used like a NAS and the music send by the LAN cable to the Auraliti. I can not figure out how to have Auraliti "see" the USB HDD. Can not figure out the needed settings in the "mount NAS" section. I should say that I have attached a single test USB stick now to the Extreme. This I can see on my Windows7 computers on the network and see the files. This is using the FAT file system. (Think only FAT16) Can anyone help me with the Auraliti "mount NAS" settings ? Buch P.S. - I have read about "Find Shared Networks" and that it should be in the configuration page on the Auraliti.. but I can really not see this. Maybe I have an outdated Firmware ? Though my PK90 is only about 1½ years old. The firmware version is : Rev 2.6.18M-DSD-1
  8. Hi again Hanz Thanks for your answers. Good to know that I can not get better sound quality. Then I am very sure that I can live with the software, i have at this point. I guess it is pretty dificult to find a suitable PS3, but hope you eventually find it. It could be so nice to rip DSD yourselves. I tried some MPD clients or saw some screenshots of many also. But did not find any , that suited me more than MPAD. So think, i hope for them to solve the slider issue in a new version. Thanks again for all your experiments stated here
  9. Hi Hanz Thanks for this very nice DIY upgrade. I can only say the same as you about their support for the moment. Had very quick and nice support when I bought my PK90 a little more than 1 year ago and also afterwards. But then they also went quiet 6-8 months ago, when I asked several times about their upcoming PSU. It is a shame, they have these moments , because I have been and still is VERY glad about the PK90 and its stability and sound quality and all for an affordable price. The PK90 work very fine in my setup and I have no problem with delays in no way. But therefore, I would like to know if you find any improvement in sound quality in the upgrade ? You also mention DSD playback for one of the reasons for your upgrade. Could you not play at all ? It works fine here, but maybe my PK90 is a later "version" . Only issue I have regarding DSD is that the slider for fast forward and etc, do not work.. so I have to play the entire track. I am not sure though if this is a Auraliti problem or MPAD, which I use. 10. Oh, should have seen that myself.. just took the first link to the store section and thought it was all that was there.. Thanks for the link..
  11. Hi there This is one of my favorite albums of all time.. have heard it sooo many times. Can anyone link me to the track list of the 92 songs download? Can not see it on the webpage. Maybe it has a lot of outtakes and songs, that not made it to the original 2 CD´s ? "the gigantic "Box High Definition Audio & Exclusive Art" (92 songs, 24/96) for $75,"
  12. Thanks all for your inputs. Yes, it is such a shame there is no more DSD download available , when there are so many SACD physical releases. I might try the MFSL gold discs or even consider Ted´s suggestion.. to get a PS3 and rip it myself. Will definetely have a look at his guide soon. And then cross my fingers for the labels to see the potential in DSD downloads soon.. even though I know the market is not huge. Who knows..maybe I should quit my job and start up a DSD download site
  13. Hi Bobby I can´s believe it is that difficult to download DSD files.. but I am sure you are right. Just don´t understand that if you can purchase the SACD physical, there is no one to sell it as download also. But maybe this has to do with legal rights and so. I might go for the Blu-ray versions and try to rip the audio from them. 96/24 is better than redbook , but after I got my Meitner DAC that can play DSD and love Pink Floyd..that would really be my dream to try out I think the only way to rip a physical SACD is by having the first version of PS3, right? Anyone know of another way to do it ? (Sorry if it is not legal - I am not fully into this)
  14. Hi there Is it just me or are there really zero places to download the newly Pink Floyd SACD releases - Wish You Were Here and Dark Side Of The Moon ? I would so much like them in DSD files..but can find nowhere to download. Only to purchase as SACD , but I can not rip them myself to DSD. Hope anyone know a place. Buch
