  1. Compared to the alternatives, I'm quite happy for this to be a small user bug! Glad you got it sorted. Ed
  2. It does seem like the USB has been affected but I'm confused as to how that could be (I can't believe for a second that the Samsung produces anything out of the ordinary by way of voltage). I agree that trying a different cable is worth a look and also ensure your computer software has been restarted (my laptop will not allow Spotify to change states so I have to restart it before connecting a DacMagic or any other USB audio device for example). Ed
  3. Hello Joe, Can I ask the obvious question first that you powered the DacMagic Plus off before remaking the connection? This is distinct from the powering the unit on and off when changing the USB mode. Can you also confirm that you haven't switched the DacMagic Plus to preamp mode and inadvertantly muted it? Regards Ed Selley Cambridge Audio
  4. Hello Duane, Can you confirm two things; 1) Do the files play on the NP30 if you put some on a USB stick and connect them directly. 2) If you use the free trial version of Twonky on your computer, are the files seen and played? Regards Ed Selley Cambridge Audio
