I think I would place one of my favorite albums of their's, "Nightfall In Middle-Earth" as a mix of power and prog. Could be wrong though.

Glad that it's narrowed down so I don't have to add anymore choices lol. I live in canada and there aren't any stores in my city that would carry it so ordering it would add shipping costs. But the size of the thing is so appealing

This will be used mostly at work. I have built an O2 amp a while ago and want to pair it up with a DAC that's under $200. I am aware of the ODAC but would rather build it myself later when more resources for it become available. Some options I've been looking at were the HRT headstreamer(I heard good things about it's build quality) and the Audioquest Dragonfly(quite pricey for it's size and features but apparently it's sound quality is top notch). I was considering the Audioengine D1 previously but I found out that it's output impedance is 10 ohms for the headphone output which is an unacceptable flaw in terms of the product's engineering. Any opinions on what I've been considering or some suggestions for other DACs?

Prog, power, and heavy. I like my metal with good vocals
