  1. Totally agree with Trevor. I also have in my collection CD's and SHM-CD's From the same master, same MD5 from dBpoweramp and EAC, but played on my BD player (much higher) Sony they sound very different (in favor of SHM-CD).
  2. That's why I always say IMO. And then I say "like-dislike" and not say what is better objectively speaking, because in this case can not be objective. How to do a blind test between vinyl and CD?
  3. Sure, but is not it too much? After all, to listen to music should not need relevant education Things should be able to reduce to simple I like-I do not like. Well, in most cases, I like vinyl more than SHM-CD and CD. For SACD I can not say anything.
  4. If you have the good fortune to find BluSpek CD and SHM-CD recorded by one and the same master, the SHM will obviously sound better (I have experience with this).
  5. In my opinion, even in our days is not worth to replace the vinyl with anything except vinyl again. If you want to listen to a computer, do as I do. Save it and listen. Even then, the difference is easily noticeable and I think the benefit of vinyl. Example: the same song from my SHM-CD and vinyl. 1. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bwop...it?usp=sharing 2.https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bwop...it?usp=sharing Please comment.

  7. Are there fans here Depeche Mode? Some impressions from the sound of their last album "Delta Machine" on vinyl or CD?
  8. Why copy them, buy them. Unfortunately, not every artist released the music on vinyl. CD but vinyl? Whatever. You go through the CD does not serve for anything: P
  9. Depeche Mode - Delta Machin. Incredible Album! Great studio work! Yesterday arrived home. 2LP 180 g vinyl. Since then I listened to the seventh or eighth time. Real pleasure. Good for them!
  10. Absolutely agree. If someone buys SHM-CD must first be sure that it is not remaster or is an album that he has never heard before. He may be pleased. In any case, it is vain spending of money.
  11. In no case! I have a 26 SHM-CD's, each of which I have in Japan 1st press CD and LP. In most, if not all cases LP sounds great. CD too far as a CD can sound very good. SHM-SD's have great dynamics, bass pumped, too bright highs, and in the end utterly unnatural sound. Unsatisfactory.
  12. Тo want to have and to have a good audio equipment and enjoy itssound reproducing your favorite music, even it was the last albumBatsk Street Boys excludes neither can an audiophile or music lover in my opinion. you all for this fight. To listen in the best possible way, our favorite music. My philosophy is to strive for the music i like and i am trying to find the best possible source of relevant sounding album. Read, ask, then buy and usually i do not make mistakes. I assume that this fall in both categories in some way. I do not care. The important thing is that I am happy with my music collection and equipment.
