  1. Sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find instructions anywhere. I simply want to convert a number of RAW files that do not have RIAA eq applied to a lossless format that does have the EQ applied so that I can play them back on different software. Does anyone here know how I do that? Thanks in advance for any help
  2. I'm new to this game but I recently ripped the SHM SACD of What's Going On - which is supposed to be a gapless album. I get very a worrying thump between some tracks (not a tick), and Pure Music skips the next track on occasion. These are DFF's. On another note, Pure Music is somehow importing the tracks into iTunes in the wrong order - this only with DFF's that I am ripping. Looking at the Extracted folder on the HDD the order is correct. Is anyone else experiencing this?
  3. Hi All I have inherited a number of lovely vinyl rips that unfortunately peak at between -5db and -12db. I use Pure Music and have downloaded Audacity. What is the best way to listen to these? Is it best to normalize them in something like Audacity (not having much luck with that) or to use the Pure Music volume control and simply set it to say +7 db for the affected albums? I don't have the gain in the system as I run a fairly low powered tube amp. Thanks for any suggestions
