Looks like I got a bum steer with My River - I've had a pretty good play with the app and can't see settings to have it mirror what's playing off the HTPC in one room, it will only "stream to" as does J Remote.. anyone know of a solution without going to wretched sIghTunes?

downsampling is fine - streaming is just for ambient music in other rooms, it's not critical listening there. My River will do the job then?

Hello All Looking for a bit of assistance here in trying to find an answer to my situation. I'd like to be able to have audio that's playing off a HTPC in one room streamed via wifi to an iDevice (pad and phone available) located elsewhere in the house. The device being streamed to will just mirror whatever is played off the HTPC. I'm running either JRiver MC or WMC (significant others preference) and have JRemote setup for control of the HTPC no problems. Is anyone able to advise how I might get this mirrored streaming setup? Is there a way to do this or one should just invest in the likes of a Sonos and be done with it? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Aaron
