  2. where can I place the order for 2.5 sd card? I'm located in europe. Thanks
  3. Looking forward to it, with you posting in mind
  4. Ipeng Can do this with the inapp purchase you Can Access and Play lms files on the ipad
  5. So, here is my head-fi setup with mR. What's to see: mR powered by hdplex at 7.5V -> Achtung Audio USB Cable -> Chord Hugo TT -> MicroZotl 2.0 with LPS
  6. So, First day with mR in my system and I can at this point say this is the best source I've ever had in my system (in combination with Roon)
  7. Would like to give feedback here. After returning the unit to Martin Smith, he figured out that the unit worked fine in his system. with a new unit already on the way, the asked me to check the power supply . so at the end I figured out the power supply is broken. as i received the new unit I used another power supply and after a few seconds the mR was ready to use. Would like to thank Martin Smith for his help and can advise any European resident to give vortexbox.co.uk a try if you are looking for a mR to buy. The service is very good.
  8. I wrote this in my first post to this thread yesterday "There is only the yellow lan led flashing, the green led shows nothing at all." this didn't change on any other network component I've tried, only thing I would say the flashing led is orange not yellow. as stated before. Thanks for your efforts, Jesus. I've talked to Martin Smith and we've agreed that I sent the unit back in, to let him check it.
  9. I've tried this already , router doesn't recognize a device if I plug in the mR. Tried different ports and cables even different router. I've used, mobile device, computer, gui of the router, gui of a switch and even network scanner to find the device. Tried this on 2 differnt networks
  10. Yes, if I connect the unit to my switch and after that power plug it, the orange led starts flashing every 2-3 seconds. this doesn't change as long as the unit has power plugged in. The only other feedback I get from the device is a sound like a fan which is not correctly running for example one with dust in it, but I know the mR has no fan. to hear the noise I've to put my ear on the side with the logo.
  11. so I've figured out some more. Under Linux the sdcard can be mounted with 2 partitions, so it seems be ok. I've connected the mR to a managed switch (on another network, as the one I've tried yesterday) which doesn't recognize a connection on the port with the mR. From my point of view there is nothing more I can do to make it work.
  12. Thanks John, I ejected the sd card immediately after I got the message. As I'm working in It for many years I know all the tricks to find something on my network but I didn't work out. what concerns me is the sound I hear form the device, it isn't there form the start, need some time to come up, about 20-30 sec. after powering the device on. I tried directly to the router, which allows the interfaces to be checked, it didn't even recognize a connection on the interface the mR is connected to
  13. Hi there, I'm a little bit in trouble and need some help. Received my mR today (via vortexbox.co.uk) and connected it to my network. But I'm not able to find the device on my network. Checked sonicorbiter.com first, than my router. There is no device. There is only the yellow lan led flashing, the green led shows nothing at all. If I put my ear to the mR I can hear a sound like .. hard to say .. "schrrrr" not very loud only when holding directly to the ear. I ejected the sd card (with no power connected to the mR) and put it to my macbook which could not initialize it, or the say it wasn't able to read it. I'm using the ifi power which came with the mR from vortex box.co.uk I checked the lan cable and connection which my macbook to be sure it is not the cable. I'm a bit frustrated now look for help...
  14. I managed to fix this by using "cmd" switching to AO Folger and started service_tool.exe via cmd shell.
