  1. Found recently, maybe not my favourite of 2013 but still pretty cool/new/interesting.... and also
  2. I agree - thanks very much, have just spent all morning on grooveshark listening - love it! Have just bought 2 of his CD's from ninjatune too. Brilliant.
  3. This for me (and still their best I think, R.I.P. Bon).... closely followed by the Oils 10-1. Both on vinyl mid 80's, prior to that was the Dance Exponents and The models on cassette tape. Still good music to drag out.
  4. A 3CD collection of Tony Joe White, bought today, audio quality not the best, ok it was cheap (10bucks for 3 cd's). I hear a bit of distortion/crackle(?) on the high end in some songs. Ripped to aiff with xld. Same on two sets of headphones (HD598's and Grado SR60's). Still a good listen though, be alright for speakers/party scenario I suspect. Also, a blast from the past (used to have on vinyl) now on Cd with a second disc of demo/early versions etc. Very good.
  5. OK - thanks. (I searched "screen saver" prior to posting but nothing worthwhile came up).
  6. I am on osx 10.8.2 and A+1399. Is there a setting I can check/uncheck to give me my screen saver back? I like to play music and set the screen saver off, if I do that now with A+ running it shows maybe 2 photo's then drops out. Would it be possible to get a check box built in to re-enable screen saver functionality? thanks
  7. The Dresden Dolls (punkish cabaret), can be downloaded for free from bandcamp.
  8. All sorted, turns out I wasn't releasing the bus by disabling bitperfect (or audirvana+) first. I found another way to quickly switch audio settings by holding down option and clicking on speaker icon in top menu bar (thanks to bowei006 over at head-fi). Learn something new everyday.
  9. Thanks souptin but would you care to elaborate? I went to both those places and couldn't see how to divert all audio to USB. Thanks.
  10. Is it possible? I have an imac circa 2008 with a powered speaker/sub setup hanging off the headphone out. It has served me well over the years and gives a surprisingly good sound (I think). I have recently added a Fiio E17 DAC via USB (and sennheiser HD598 headphones) for listeneing to my itunes catalogue with bitperfect and/or audirvana+. I am very impressed with this setup and am enjoying listening to music all over again. However, sometimes I would be listening to itunes via dac/usb etc and I might like to jump over to a browser and listen to say youtube or a song on grooveshark - this audio is still ported out the back of the imac to the speakers. Is it possible to port ALL audio to the USB for processing by the DAC? Thanks
