Reporting only very rare dropouts, it plays full quality most of the times (via Linn Accurate DS). Very nice. Stupid question: what does 'no audio available' mean? If they do not have it in the catalogue, why show it at all?

Thanks for this! The reviewer describes the Benchmark as 'bloomy'.... That certainly was not my impression when I owned one. It was rather precise and clinical, but certainly not soft and warm.

Friends, As I am contemplating getting a new DAC to complement my Squeeze Touch, I was thinking about BelCanto as I already own their integrated and am generally pleased with their high build quality and sound. Now: are they still up to the latest developments, and which one would be the sweet spot? 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5? I would not necessarily need the pre-amp functionality... Any comments on your experiences are very welcome. Thx!
