You might be interested in my new website and project - Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is a software that composes melodies automatically. I worked on the project in 1999, and we launched the website last month (we worked on the website since 2011). Users can let Speedy Composer compose melodies for them, download them in MIDI or MP3 format, and also make compositions public and share them with friends. You can listen to one of the melodies Speedy Composer composed for me:

We are currently working on a PC application that will compose music automatically. It's free software and open source.
