  1. Hi Guys, I now have 250 hours on the upgraded DAC 2v2se and I am very pleased with the increased performance of the DAC. I will like to acquire the upgraded Singxer SU-1 with PliXiR Elite BDC mod but Sound Affairs cannot confirm that W4S capacitor upgrade will be implemented. I have contacted Singxer who seems not to be aware of the capacitance of the capacitor and therefore cannot implement the mod. Are there any thoughts on how one should proceed?
  2. Hi Guys! I have had some problems and had to change the Motherboard in my CAPS v2.0. The changes I have made are as follows:- (a) From Jetway Mother board to ASROCK AD 2550B (b) From DD2 memory to DD3 memory (b) Installation of Pico Power supply The problem. I cannot booth the system with the SOTM tx PCI Card installed. The system booth and works well when the card is not installed. I have only installed 2GB of memory. Could that be the problem? Thanks for all your assistance.

  5. I tried booting with the SATA (power) extender as indicated, the drive started booting then froze, I had to disconnect the power cable to to turn it off, since then it has not booted again. Does the CAPS carry a fuse? If not I will have to get a technician to look at it. Regards
  6. I will certainly look into this further, because I will be saving the cost of an extra rail. The computer tech. said that he checked the voltage of the SSD by severing the 12V side of a Molex connection as in Post 2 above but the SSD did not fire up. I will have him revisit this. Regards
