need help on this...
i have latest mac mini which i recently set up as dedicated music server feeding into emmlab DAC2X via USB. It was working fine for a few weeks. I was using Amarra/itunes to stream music. The mac mini was connected to a DVI monitor via HMDI out for display until it broke down a few days ago.
I bought a replacement 21" Dell S2240L monitor with HDMI input. Since it is HDMI so I just did away with the adaptor (HDMI to DVI) and run HDMI to HDMI.
Now the mac can not detect the DAC and in the sound set up i can only see HDMI connection (as DELL S2240L)
appreciate the help if any expert advice on what is wrong. HDMI device and USB audio device would not co exist?
