  1. I have a weird issue with tracks skipping/popping/etc, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Basically, when playing music, a given track will skip approximately once every 2 to 5 minutes. This doesn't happen when I play music on other programs like media monkey or foobar. I have toyed with just about every combination of buffer settings (pre-buffer, hardware buffer, etc) that I can think of, but no luck. One thing that, strangely, does work (at least for a while): If I change the audio output mode (from, say, WASAPI to ASIO), the music will play without skipping for several hours. At some point, something happens and the skipping returns, in which case if I simply change the output mode back, the skipping will again go away for a while. So basically, it doesn't matter what output mode I switch to, so long as I change it. Simply changing the settings for a given output mode does not seem to have any effect. The only reason this is a frustrating issue is that I prefer to keep my computer buried in a closet and control the music with JRemote. So changing the output mode can actually be kind of annoying. Any ideas?
  2. I noticed upon upgrading to 2.00 a re-appearance of an an issue that had troubled me with past versions JRemote. I wanted to see if the recent update would fix it, but alas no luck. Basically, when I add an album to "now playing," it will flip the order of two or more of the tracks. So, if I have tracks # 1-4, it will add them, usually, as something like 1, 3, 2, 4. Also, occasionally, it will add the tracks like this: 2, 1, 3, 4, but will skip track # 2 and start with # 1. I've checked JRiver when this happens and, sure enough, its playlist reflects the same ordering, so it's not just a display error. Other than that, absolutely love the remote.
