  1. I second that LME49990 is the best, the most musical and neutral of LME serie I don't know what was wrong, but when I pluged those opamp into the socket, those LME became too hot and there will be a lot of grain and noise so I had to turn off the DAC. So maybe burson
  2. dCS system for er ... 1 milion Obama (USD) Or MSB Signature DAC IV, fully upgrade + transport (~55 grands)
  3. I just purchased this from audioadvisor... and without the driver CD ... Could someone kindly upload the driver CD, please?
  4. Actualy, there are only two things that ya can swap easily: Tube and Opamp... Swaping tube is an easy task For opamp: the DAC25.3 uses 3 dual opamps: 2 OPA2134PA & 1 OPA2604PA As I know, many people say that the sound of OPA2604 is veiled off, easy to listen to, but lack of details... so if ya want to do a simple upgrade, just change those 3 opamps I changed those two OPA2134PA with 2 lme49720, still waiting for the DIP socket adapter so that I can replace OPA2604 with two LAM49710 (single)... As for the MKP cap... maybe we do need to solder those 4 as Lece did... just because Burson said that in theird 101 guide: stable DC current is important to draw the best of our op-amp module ... so solder MKP cap... BTW, just try to change some "reasonable" OPAMPs first
