I have Jremote as well which priced at 7.99, bubbleUpnP has free version and full functional for 4.69. With Jremote, you can only control Jriver, but bubbleUpnP, you can control all upnp/dlna enabled devices.

If I recall, you only need to install BubbleUpnP server (free) if you are serving music from NAS. And why would you need 2 computer? All you need is host computer that is connected to a dac. BubbleUpnP is controlling app for connected UpnP/DLNA devices. Those who do not wish to pay for Jriver, can use Foobar (free). I haven't tried Hifi cable, but SQ with just Jriver without the need of Airserver, I am very satisfied. YMMW..

With BubbleUpnP not only you have access and control Tidal, but as well as your Library server of all your DLNA enabled devices like your NAS, rendered PC or Mac which where Jriver is installed.

Although GUI of Tidal app is not the same, but BubbleUpnP app hosts all functions of Tidal that includes your saved playlists, artist, albums and etc., streams and DLNA renders to Jriver which installed in your Windows or Mac os. In Jriver, goto tools, option then select media network tab, check on "Use media network to share this library and enable DLNA". After another windows pops up, you just follow instructions to enable DLNA library server and renderer. This way, you don't need to install Airserver.

Hi Blizzard, To me, simpler way to achieve is to use any android phone with Bubbleupnp installed to play tidal in there then DLNA render to either Windows or Mac os Jriver then you get flawless stream to your dac. This is all wireless route.

I'll chime in. My Amber Regen is fed by late 2012 mini via totaldac d1 usb cable that is connected to AMR dp-777 SE. Now I am just waiting for Uptone JS2 psu (will be feeding mini and regen) that was supposed to be shipped today, but delayed to ship Monday. Can't wait to hear futher SQ improvement once mini and regen powered by JS2!

I don't consider to have audiophile ears, but systems that I've enjoyed most were Legacy Aeris Speaker powered by Coda amps, Dagostino with Wilson sashas, lastly my GF likes the sound of goldmund system.
