Circuit requirement: Monitor the audio feed and when there is a signal turn on the 5v feed. When there is no audio signal turn off the 5v feed.
Why?? I'm sure you are wondering why in the world I would inject 5v into the negative lines feeding the amplifier. Well I did not design the Monsoon Amp and whoever did decided a seperate turn on circuit was too easy. So, to turn on this amp 6v is injected into all the lines +/-/L/R/F/B. Through reading and testing I have found that 5v on the left front negative line turns on the amp. But there is a buzz. 5v applied to all negative lines eliminates the buzz. When audio feed is off there is a buzz.
So, I want a circuit that monitors the audio line for a signal and then turn on/off the 5v feed accordingly.
