    Other part of clean is the waveform/distortion in the power. Anyone have good info on noise/distortion from solar power inverters. I was told last year that levels from solar power inverter were 10 to 50x higher than mains. But info was sketchy. Anyone know better? Same question for local wind power? Final thought- nice clean DC off solar and bypass all the power supplies in my system.

    Yesss. I have a beautiful 120 year old cherry wood armoire and I hide all my stereo equipment inside that beautifully designed cabinet. Result, 33 years of peaceful marriage. [emoji3]

    +1 on the Fiona and Cookie team. I dowloaded late last night as double DSD and have already listened to the album straight through twice. Mmmm good. I grew up with a mother and three sisters all playing piano so recordings have to be great. This album is tops.

    Anyone have a workable experience of getting a repair on drive, firmware, display via Sony or elsewhere? What was your path to success? I need a display repair in warranty. All these customer service stories have me worried.

    Carver M1.5t after 25 years, Yamaha receiver after 10 years, Tascam CD player after 12 years, couple of Sony CD/SACD after 5-6 years - players lost laser diodes. Amp and Receiver needed caps. Other than new tubes, all other components and parts are amazingly reliable.
