  1. Ok. We will agree to disagree then. I think that burn in stuff is psychological. ( except for speakers) That is a greatly heated debate which I don't really want to start here. I just didn't like it. I have owned a Benchmark DAC1 in the past ( which I greatly regret selling) and I loved it right off the bat. I just don't feel like sitting around waiting and hoping and maybe finally even convincing myself it sounds better to justify my purchase. For those that do, more power to you. I'm moving on.
  2. Dude. Seriously. Get over yourself. I'm not new to this game.
  3. Sorry. I don't subscribe to that break in voo doo. I think it's ridiculous. At least as far as electronics are concerned.
  4. Got it today and hooked it up. Pretty underwhelming. SBT sounds as good to me. It's going back.
  5. Just pulled the trigger on this since I can run it in Direct mode on my Integra but after reading some posts about it being bright I am getting nervous. I don't really subscribe to that burn in stuff either so I guess I will know tomorrow whether or not I like it.
  6. Hmmmm - I have Von Schweikert VR4 Jrs but they are crossed at 80 in the Integra for HT. I have 4 Hsu ULS15 subs that are located perfectly for bass response for my room. The VR4s aren't in the best spot to provide sole bass. Hmmmmm guess I'll just have to live with it as is. It sounds good but I know what a good DAC can add. Oh well. Thanks for all the replies.
  7. Thanks. I thought about that but for some reason my subs don't engage in Direct mode.
  8. Hi guys, I am considering getting a Bifrost for my Squeezebox Touch. My question is, I listen to music through my home theater via my Integra DHC 9.9's analog inputs. Would the benefits of the Bifrost be lost after the Integra? TIA
