  1. Flavio...can I just clarify that the current release version of Dirac Live for Windows is still V 1.10? This is the only version available to me when I log into my account, although ver 1.2 is available to Mac users. Am I correct this is the same version of the software for at least the last 4 years? if so, the new version will be a very welcome and long overdue upgrade. thanks
  2. Hey Flavio i have registered to be a beta tester at the link you gave us...but heard nothing! How do we get access to the beta software? Thanks
  3. Hi Flávio...thanks for the information. but the next question isn't "when is it going to be released?" The next question is..."if it's already fixed why is it not already released, maybe as a patch ?" Thanks
  4. Thanks Flávio, I didn't know you had changed the OS specific licensing protocol. The fact that I had already bought and paid for a Mac OS licence is the single biggest reason I have not moved to a windoze platform! Can I now use my existing licence number to activate a newly downloaded Windows version of Dirac?
  5. Flavio that is indeed good news...thanks for the response. Can you give us an ETA own the new build? Before end of year? First quarter 2016?? Sometime after that??? Thanks
  6. Yes it sounds to me like a Dirac problem with Mac OS X. Switching to Windows "may" provide a workaround, but the licence issue will be a very costly part of this workaround. Flávio any suggestions?
  7. Kal, am I correct in thinking that the Dirac software licence is OS specific? In which case, would the solution you suggest of running Windows on a MAC also require the purchase of an additional Windows Dirac licence?
  8. This is not Devialat specific. I have the same problem with an Emotiva XMC-1. i also have the same problem when I use a Musical Fidelity USB DAC. I believe this is a software problem, possibly due to an incompatibility between Mac OS and Dirac software, and therefore requires a Dirac fix.
  9. I Agree...I have exactly the same issue. I would love to know if there is. Workaround?
  10. Thanks Flavio for your response, although I am not sure I entirely agree with you! Regardless of the fact that Tidal have chosen Chrome as their web browser platform for Hi Fi streaming, the point is that it works perfectly (via chrome) in every configuration and as far as i can tell with every DAC...until Dirac is introduced into the pathway. The incompatibility is definitely with Dirac, but the question is this...is it Tidal which is incompatible with Dirac, or Dirac which is incompatible with Tidal? Either way, those of us who want to use Dirac in our Hi Fi systems can't do so at the moment using Tidal as a source.
  11. The non response from Dirac is deafening on this issue. it has to be an issue with Dirac, because I have now used Tidal Chrome Mac web browser in hi fi mode with multiple different Dac,s, and all play perfectly. But in every instance when Dirac is introduced in the audio chain it's a problem. Come on Dirac say something about this!!!
  12. Mike...I am not using the desktop app, just the chrome web browser, and the problem still manifests itself. I agree with the poster above, it must be related to HiFi bit rates and Dirac
  13. Yes I have the same problem. Chrome Tidal web player on OS X mavericks just doesn't play correctly when played through Dirac. Works perfectly when bypassing Dirac and going straight to DAC (Musical Fidelity M1 DAC). There is obviously some compatibility issue with Dirac. Is this a Dirac problem or a Tidal problem or a Chrome problem?? Flavio, can you throw any light on this? Thanks
