Will a dongle tied to a HQ Player 4 key work on a machine with HQ Player 5. I have a machine with a usb dongle that was created under HQ Player OS embedded 4. If I have a machine with HQ Player 5 embedded installed, will the dongle still work?

So what do I have to do to make sure my dongle works with the 5.5 installation. All is working fine on the 5.4 install.

FYI. I went back to using the USB key with the old OS installed (5.4). Everything works fine, and show that the software is licensed to me. However, when installed USB key with the new OS (5.5), software is still in trial mode. So there is a problem.

I thought the point of using the USB dongle is that you don't have to upload the key each time?

Problems with updating OS embedded to 5.5. I am running HQ Player OS embedded off a usb stick. I was running 5.4 and just tried to upgrade to 5.5. I created a new image on a USB stick using rufus. The OS loaded fine, but the fingerprint shows I am in trial mode. I am using the USB dongle and did not remove this from the computer. I simply took out the USB stick containing 5.4, replaced it with the USB stick containing 5.5. I noticed that the IP address changed when I put in the new USB stick. Everything was working fine with 5.4 and the fingerprint showed that I was not in the trial mode. How do I fix this? And, why would an upgrade change the IP address given that I am using a USB dongle?

I'm not sure if this feature is available, but are you able to resize cover art. I am currently using JPlay on my Mac Studio and am using my large screen TV as a monitor. The cover art is quite small and would like to make it bigger. In addition, would you consider the ability to display both the front and back covers of an album?

I use this for playing multichannel dsf files connected via HDMI to my denon receiver. The Eversolo has a custom HDMI audio only output that sounds quite good for HDMI. Chris, did you get a chance to try this?

I just purchased a dongle for one of my hq player embedded licenses. I inserted the dongle into one of the usb ports and the hqplayer embedded image (on a usb stick) onto another port but I am still in trial mode. I inputted the key file I was given for the dongle, rebooted, but still in trial mode (== signs at the end of the fingerprint). What can I do to fix. Using Hq player embedded image 5.3.1? Upgraded to embedded version 5.3 image. Installation went fine, but when I looked at the licensing information, the fingerprint changed so the license won't work. I have several installations of HQ player embedded and wonder why the fingerprint would change given that I made no changes to the machine. How do I resolve this. In the meantime I will go back to the old version 5.1 until this is resolved

I enjoyed this a great deal. Well done!! My favorite Clapton album is the album he did with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers (The Beano album). I'd be curious about your take on this since there are many competing masterings of this album.

As I noted in a previous post, the software is a mess, especially the inability to select DSD recordings as a filter and the hanging of the database update. I hope Aurender keeps the consume feature which I use and like. Given all the time it has taken to release an update, the least they could have done is thoroughly tested it.

I had the same problem with the Dsd files as well as the app freezing with preparing download message. Very disappointing

Does jplay support cover art for multichannel dsf images when using minimserver as a library. I am using jplay to send information from minimserver to my magnetar udp800 universal player.. Jplay is able to transfer the files fine and I am able to play multichannel audio from dsf files. However, I don't see any cover art when looking at the monitor through which I view my home theater system (it shows the magnetar player screen).
