I was able to establish a network bridge in Win Server 2016, the exact same way as in windows 10. Using DHCP for all ports. I am using the onboard ethernet port and a PCI E ethernet card for the bridge. I know you were asking if someone had similar problems, but I don't remember anybody saying that they definitely got it working with Server 2016. So it should be possible. I'd like to thank bit01 for posting about the Tera Grand Cat-7 Ultra flat Ethernet cable. I greatly prefer it to my Audioquest cinnamon between computer and SMS-200. Try it out! It is cheap to try. I own the cd and really enjoy it. It was my first exposure to her music and I prefer the renditions on this cd over the songs on her main albums. Sound quality is all over the place from good to not very good, but must have for fans I would say. David

I was setting a static IP to see if that would fix my Jremote issues and it did not so I re installed Windows Server 2012. I will email you for support. Thanks for the quick reply. David

I am trying to reinstall AO 1.26b after making some changes and now I am stuck in core mode without being able to start the service tool. I am doing things the same way as I did previously that worked, but it will not start after my reinstall. Jriver and Jump are working, just not AO. Any ideas where I may have a problem? When I look at the dir for my desktop the install file shows up, but not the service tool or Audiophile core. Thanks, David

Thanks for the review Chris. I have been waiting to hear your take on it. I am another owner who is very pleased with the DAC after coming from a Rega Apollo. For me the direct connection was better then going through my Parasound P3 preamp so I encourage people to try it both ways especially if they have a more modest preamp.
