    Fiio E10-ATH M50 FTW!!!
  1. Hey all. I got Asus Xonar DX sound card which is use to connect to my new KaliAudio LP6 and Fiio E10 for my Tin Audio T2 and ATH M40x. I was wondering if the new Fiio K5 Pro is a well worthy upgrade for me. If I get the K5 Pro I plan to use it primarily as a headphone dac/amp and maybe it's pre-outs for the LP6s. Please give your inputs. Regards.
  2. Hi all, Just looking forward to spend max $150 if I get a DAC/Amp to get better sound from Audio Technica M40x. I currently use FiiO E10. Please throw some suggestions. Regards.
  3. Thanks for the input. I connected cable to a PCI USB Extension card and it is working as of now. Will keep your options in mind.
  4. Well I connected the cable to a PCI USB card and it seems to work as of now. Shorter cable is better but I watch movies from a distance hence...
  5. I have Fiio E10 and it was working fine on my previous computer with a 9 meters USB3 cable. Things suddenly changed when I upgraded to a newer motherboard! E10 is detected by windows but can't play audio. Any limitation DACS have as far as length of USB cable is concerned. It worked without issues on previous set up.
  6. I am not the only one who felt windows 8.1 sounding much better than 7! nice!
  7. I just upgraded my PC yesterday and my FiiO E10 does not work on the same 9 meters USB3 cable that it was working on the previous set up.
  8. Hi all, I've been facing strange problem (not very frequent) with my Xonar DX. Sometimes one speaker (left) clearly has more volume than the right! To an extent that it sounds like the right speaker is dead. Happens with ALL sounds from PC : Headphone/speakers so i'm sure it is related with the card. Only a restart solves it. I'm using latest driver. Anyone facing this problem with Xonar please share what you did to resolve it. This problems happens sometimes NOT always but is bothering me since i feel my card could be defected OR some hardware damage might happen later! Many thanks.
  9. Bose comes pretty close! High-end audio for n00bs with money
  10. Maybe you were not too good with DIY and your choice of components landed you in trouble No offences.
  11. The best thing about apple products imo is longevity. Their products last much longer than others i've seen. Rest all is hype and global presence.
