Thinking of getting this but they list absolutely nothing about how it was mastered. Since I already own the LP and CD....it will have to be a significant upgrade for me to jump on this!

He all: Well I figured it out. Thought I would post the answer here in case anyone needs it in the future. Also want to say that Ray Burnham from Auraliti has been very helpful and answered quite a few emails. Well it turned out that even though I deleted some files from the thumb drive, I did not empty the recycle bin. It is kept in a hidden file on the drive. The PK100 was seeing both files as valid (which they were) and MPaD was showing 2 covers. Deleted the recycle bin and all is now back to normal. Kevin

Ok...noticed something else. Seems to only effect files i modify. For example...downloaded a new album to the hard drive of my laptop. Copied it to my remote drive and started pk100 and mpad saw the new album fine. I then noticed it was missing a date in metadata, used jriver to update the file on the laptop, hooked up the portable drive, deleted the file from the portable drive and recopied over the modifed file. When i started mpad, i now have two albums showing, one with date and one without but both are playable. Weird...

Hi all: Not sure if this is the correct forum or if it should be in the music server one. I'm running an Auraliti pk100 and MPaD to control it. Using an external 1TB disk to hold the files. Problem is I'm seeing a lot of duplication in cover art when using MPaD, however if I scann the same drive with JRiver, it looks fine. I'm pretty sure it is NOT a data issue, as I can search for song names and see no duplicates. I have tried refreshing the database of the pk100 with no drive attached(clearing all files). I then tried syncing MPaD and it saw no files. I restarted with the drive, resynked MPaD and I still have multiple copies (all playable) of a single album. Any ideas or is MPaD just buggy? Any other options for controlling MPD from an IPad? Did not see any on the wicki...any help would be great! Kevin

Hey all, any benefit to getting these downloads in 24/192 or is 24/96 good enough?

So I admit to being somewhat frustrated. Ray responded to my email with a nice follow up and pictures of the unit. He said he would email me in two days with an update on when they could ship it. I waited a week and did not hear anything. As of today, 2 emails to Ray have gone unanswered. I understand they are a small company, but if you can't answer an email from a perspective customer...how do you hope to sell anything? Going to look at spending some more money and probably look at Bryston, SOtM & Sonore for my needs. It's too bad really, seemed like a nice unit. Kevin

Hi all: Many thanks for your input. I did finally here from Ray...so all is good. Looks like they made a few changes to the PK100 and are waiting for some update on the supplier of cases. He said he should have delivery information to me tomorrow. Looks like I will be placing an order for one very soon! Kevin

Hello: Is aurality still in business? I want to buy a pk100 and have sent them several emails with no response. Don't want to send a PayPal order to a company that is no longer in business. Anybody know the status of this company? Thanks
